At StairHandrail.com, each handrail is custom-made to your exact specifications. Because our products are built to order, all sales are final, and we do not accept returns or exchanges. Please review our policy below regarding defects and shipping damage.

Defects & Finish Issues

If your order arrives with a significant defect in craftsmanship or structural integrity, we will remanufacture and ship a replacement at our expense. If the issue is cosmetic, such as a minor imperfection in the finish, we may provide touch-up paint instead of a full replacement at our discretion.

To report a defect, please contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of delivery. Claims must include photos showing the defect for review.

Shipping Damage

If your item is damaged during shipping, we will remanufacture and ship a replacement at no cost to you. You are not required to return the damaged item.

To qualify for a replacement due to shipping damage, you must report the issue within 5 business days of delivery by emailing [your customer service email] with clear photos of the damage and packaging.

Incorrect Measurements & Installation Considerations

  • No refunds or replacements will be provided for incorrect measurements submitted by the customer. Please carefully verify all dimensions before placing your order.
  • Mounting bracket alignment to studs or backing is not guaranteed. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure adequate structural support at each mounting point, particularly at each “nose” location of the handrail.

  • Our team will assess each claim individually to determine the best resolution.
  • If a replacement is necessary, we will work as quickly as possible to manufacture and ship your new handrail.
